How to Connect to Your Ancestors
This is one of my most requested videos and questions I get all the time as a profession evidential psychic medium and Italian American Folk Witch, Chelsea, how do I connect with my ancestors? Today I'm talking all about how I personally learned and connect to my own, how you DON’T need divination to connect with your ancestors and what you can expect from it.
Connecting to your ancestors can be a beautiful and transformative relationship if you take the time to learn, approach the deceased with respect and understand the nuances of connecting with the dead.
Divination isn’t a form I always recommend to those looking to connect with your ancestors and my video explains why! Divination is a rare form of connection I use and there’s plenty of other ways to connect if you spend some time finding what works for you.

Why? Why are you wanting to connect to your ancestors? What is your main goal? Before, we do anything in the spiritual world or in magic - we want to make sure we are understanding why we do anything! Is it because it’s an internet trend or do we genuinely want to make a lifelong connection to the other side?
How? How can I connect with my ancestors if I don’t know how to communicate with spirits? Creating your own form of communicating through signs, traditions, culture, food and more are all things I recommend and expand on in my own personal practice with my ancestors. I am Italian American after all… and FOOD is how I connect with my departed loved ones.
Who? Who are you looking to connect to? Connecting with ancestors can be tricky and maybe there are ancestors that you don’t wish to make a connection with. I encourage you to connect to your ancestor that will help you for your highest good or those that you loved and were fond of!
Creating a Sacred Space: Have a place where my ancestors can meet with me in my own home, that created specifically with the things in this life they used to love is important to me and also them. Believe it or not, the kitchen is a place where I share some of my most profound messages and connection to my ancestors. Food is how we speak, creating recipes and carrying on traditional recipes is where I feel them the most and their whispers of wisdom.
